1)How do I create a user name?
User names must:

Ets.org has instituted a policy of not accepting passwords containing overly used or easily guessed words such as the word "password" or common colors (for example, "blue1234"). If your entry violates this list, you will be required to try again. Please choose a password that is less easily guessed.
If you are an existing user, ets.org keeps a record of your previous passwords. When changing your password, you may not reuse any of your five previous password choices.
What are the system's browser requirements?
Online registration has the following browser requirements:

I keep getting a message saying that my session has expired. What should I do?
Your session times out after a period of inactivity. You will need to log back onto the system again. Any transaction you were working on at the time will not be saved.
I can't access the Web site. I'm sure that my password is correct. What should I do?
Check to make sure your Caps Lock key is off.

3)I forgot my password. What should I do?
On the log in screen, click "Password Assistance." You will be asked to enter your user name and answer a security question to verify your identity. You will then be asked to create a new password.

I can't find my school from the score recipient list. What do I do?
You can search for the score recipient by:
Location - Select the Country and State
Name - Enter the name of the school. If you only know part of the name, enter that part followed by a % sign.
Recipient Code - An up-to-date list of agencies and institutions, along with their recipient codes, that accept TOEFL scores is available in the Learners and Test Takers section of the TOEFL Web site.
If you still can't find your school, you can add an unlisted score recipient. Click "Add an unlisted recipient." Enter the name and address of the score recipient you wish to send your score report to and click "Continue."

7)Where on the Web site can I order additional score reports?
Select "Register for a Test/Order Score Reports." Select "Service" as the product type and click "Continue." Select "Additional Score Report" and click "Continue." Select the test date and click "Continue." Search for the score recipient you wish to send your score report to and follow the remaining screens through payment.

I can't find a test location where I live. What are my options?
If there is no test center where you live, TOEFL iBT may not yet be available in your area. Go to computer-based or paper-based TOEFL testing registration.

9)Can I get testing accommodations for a disability?

I keep receiving an error message when registering online. On the payment screen, I received a "Page Can't Be Displayed" error.
Try refreshing the page using your browser's refresh button.
If refreshing does not work, close your browser session and try to log in again.

10)Why can't I find the test date I want?
You need to register at least 3 full days prior to test date, not including date of test. For example, the deadline to schedule a test on Saturday is Tuesday. If the test date you want is not listed, the deadline for registration may have passed or all seats may have been filled.
I missed my test deadline. What should I do?
You will need to select another test date.
I clicked my browser's back button and got the "page has expired" message. Do I have to go through the entire transaction again?
Yes. You should avoid using the back button when you are registering for a test or placing an order. If you get this message, use the browser buttons to refresh the page. If that does not work, you should close your browser and try to log in again. Your session may have timed out after a period of inactivity.
